    Coding Practice Empty Coding Practice

Post  SunnyDay Sun May 27, 2012 7:46 am

So I've finished the tutorial and had a little practice with Ren'py and coded a small scene.

The scene probably won't be used for our VN. I just thought it would be a good idea to practice. And yes, using Ren'Py is surprisingly easy.

Here's a download link where you can find the .rar file for my first attempt, using a default character from the Ren'Py files.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

You'll need to download Ren'Py to play this.

You need to extract the file.

    Then run Ren'Py

    Select project

Then go to where you extracted the "First project" and open it.

    Then launch.

I may be wrong, but random got it working. He'll be more help here.

Just stick it in a zip, create a profile, drag and drop in the zip.
    Very straight forward.
